[Q1]

- My answer

People might have different ideas, but I personally lean towards the perspective of preferring taking offline class. This choice stems from my personal experience. I'm someone who enjoy to communicate with people face to face, so taking offline class could be really helpful to communicate and making friends on campus. Making friends on campus could be really good memory in our 20s, because we can enjoy campus life, like going library together or doing activities like clubs, communities and parties. So these good things stems from real communication, not online things, so apart from effectiveness of offline class, the benefit of taking online class communication with people face to face.

People might have different ideas, but I personally lean towards preferring offline classes. This preference stems from my own experience. I'm someone who enjoys communicating with people face-to-face, so taking offline classes can really help with communication and making friends on campus. Creating friendships on campus can create lasting memories in our 20s because we can enjoy campus life together, such as going to the library or participating in activities like clubs, communities, and parties. These positive experiences stem from real-life interaction, not online engagement. So apart from the effectiveness of offline classes, another benefit is face-to-face communication with people.

According to the reading passage and conversation, it seems like there has been a change in policy at the tennis center, including changes to tennis classes. The woman in the conversation expresses agreement with this decision, giving several reasons. Firstly, free tennis classes could be helpful to students who have a limited budget. It was extremely expensive for beginners and students previously as it cost $15 per hour, which is relatively expensive. However, if they implement a free class policy then students will find it easier to participate. Secondly, if more students participate in classes, matching players would become relatively easier. This way students can play tennis with many people and even communicate with others who are interested in tennis; they can interact more freely. These changes could prove really beneficial.

We are living in an era of 'Information Overload', a term used to describe our current state of being overwhelmed by too much information. The lecturer discusses the negative effects of information overload by giving two examples. Firstly, he mentions email, which was an important communication tool in the past. Nowadays, we receive so many emails that we usually only read those marked as urgent. This can be risky as we may overlook other important emails. Secondly, he talks about internet advertisements which are ubiquitous but not necessarily helpful or effective because they're often ignored while browsing websites. It's hard to process all this information simultaneously, so we typically disregard these ads. This is a literal manifestation of Information Overload.

Sometime individuals groups view, even if group's view is not correct. In psychology, they call this concept as group influence. In the lecture, the lecturer gives examples of this concept. Firstly, he gives an example of informational influence. There was a photo provides sign of 'good luck'. And individual said this sign as good luck. But the other people says this sign it 'why not'. So after that, individual change he view into group view, even if group view is not correct. Secondly, this is more common in adolecent group, If we imagine our adolecent time, usually we behave avoid abandoning from  friends, more likely to follow friend's fashion style, behavior. Like wearing jearsy while watching football.

Sometimes individuals adopt a group's view, even if that view is not correct. This concept is known as 'group influence' in psychology. In the lecture, the lecturer gives examples of this concept. Firstly, he mentions informational influence using an example of a photo that supposedly brings 'good luck'. An individual initially interprets this sign as bringing good luck, but when others interpret it as 'why not', the individual changes his view to align with the group's perspective, even if it might not be correct. Secondly, this phenomenon is more common among adolescent groups. If we recall our own adolescence, we often behaved in ways to avoid being ostracized from friends and were more likely to follow their fashion styles or behaviors—like wearing jerseys while watching football.
